The second annual Dorado Challenge is being hosted by the prestigious Miami Outboard Club in Miami, Florida on July 12, 2014. The M.O.C. has been instrumental in marine conservation, and in artificial reef programs in the Miami area. It has been in existence since 1938 and has established itself internationally as an asset to boating and marine conservation.
This year’s Dorado Challenge will also support ACE Academy, a non-for-profit school that caters to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such cerebral palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorders and other syndromes. Autism has been a growing trend for years. GHM has a special connection to the school because staffer Ozzy Delgado’s son attends ACE Academy.
Register your boat at $250, which will include up to four anglers and dinner tickets. Top prizes for the tournament include: $2,500 for biggest Dolphin, $1000 second place and $500 third place. Special prizes will also be awarded for lady’s largest fish, junior’s largest fish, largest tuna, wahoo and kingfish. For complete rules, please download the entry form attached.
